Early Aspirations and
Formative Years

Our director Elie Tarraf, having finished school in 2006, always aspired to be a construction manager for a large construction firm. While completing studies at university, he would also work on various construction sites throughout Sydney, Formwork carpentry being his chosen trade. Formwork carpentry gave Elie the skillset necessary to understand the finer and more detailed workings of construction.

Pursuing Passion:
From Carpenter to Builder

Not long into his studies, he realised what he thought was his passion, wasn’t that after all. Elie didn’t want the 9-5 office job, he wanted to create and build projects he could be proud of, homes that people and families could live and grow old in. Where children could celebrate countless birthdays and spend many Christmases in with their family. Over the next few years, Elie worked in the carpentry game where his passion for transforming houses into homes grew exponentially.

Founding Tarraco Group:
A Vision Realized

At the end of 2011, Elie applied for his builder’s license with the hopes he could open his own construction company one day, where he could fulfil his dreams of building and creating beautiful spaces and homes for families across Sydney. 2013 was the year Tarraco Group was founded. TARRAF CONSTRUCTION. Keeping his name as close to his business was very important to Elie. He knew he wanted to provide a personal relationship with all his clients where he could walk side by side with them to turn their abstract ideas to reality.
